Henry Youth Lacrosse is organizing a group outing to see The Georgia Swarm – our local professional lacrosse team – play on March 8th at 7:30 p.m. This game is the Swarm’s “Grow the Game Night,” where the team will recognize local youth programs from around the Metro Atlanta Area – including HYL.
One player will wear our official Henry Youth Lacrosse jersey during warmups and a special edition game jersey will be worn by all players featuring logos from local programs (again, including HYL). Programs with the most attendees in their group get first pick of which player’s jersey they would like to get after the game – and we will randomly select one person in our group to go home with the jersey! Last year we had the most people in our group and got to meet, take pictures and get autographs with Lyle Thompson, one of the best lacrosse players in the world today. It was a real treat for our players.
We’d like to get another large group together for this year’s outing. We’ve secured a sideline section for the game and have negotiated discounted tickets for the event ($20 per-person). Tickets in our section are normally up to $38 per-person, so this is a good deal for a family outing. Even if you’re not a lacrosse fan, you’ll enjoy the game. It’s non-stop action and a lot of fun for all ages.
Anyone is welcome to join our group for the game – we would like as many of our players and their family members, friends and friends of friends to join our group. Here’s how you can be part of the fun this year:
- Purchase your tickets using our Square link by Monday, March 3rd (Deadline). Use this link.
- We will place a bulk ticket order on Tuesday, March 4th. We will distribute tickets via email (to access via mobile device) the week of the game.
- We will group players together by team and keep families together. NOTE: the order confirmation says “practice pickup” – disregard, we will distribute the tickets electronically and email everyone when they are sent.
- Additional details regarding game day logistics will be shared with everyone a few days before the event. Depending on how many people we have in our group, we may be able to join the team for the pre-game activities like the team tunnel or The National Anthem. We will also get to do a post-game meet and greet with a player (please plan to join us after the game for photos and autographs down on the field).
